Careful these pages are outdated unsupported archival copies

Welcome to my Homepage. As with about any 'living' object on the web, these pages are constantly updated and yet constantly on the verge of becoming obsolete. Still I hope to have assembled some useful and interesting stuff, so feel free to have a look around, and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

As of Oct 3rd, 2005 i have started a new job as 'Associate Director' in the group of Micheal Klein at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. As a consequence this homepage will have to be moved or adapted in some way. But since it takes some time to get settled and started in a new job, i will keep this one alive until i have set up a proper replacement. The kind people in Bochum also have promised me that I can keep the current pages around for a long while and that we will later set up some redirection tables, so that bookmarks to the tutorials and other pages will still get you (at least close) to where you want to go.
